Founder’s Associate / Growth Lead

Founder’s Associate / Growth Lead – Remote Working, with option to attend co-working space weekly (London).

Commitment: Part-time to start (c. 21 hrs/week), for 6 months, with option to scale to full-time as revenue grows.

TrackCarbon is a food sustainability tech startup that develops granular, data-driven environmental impact assessments for multi-ingredient food products. We serve small and medium-sized Food & Beverage brands, and food service providers.

Role:

We are advertising a position for a Founder’s Associate / Growth Lead to assist the Founder of this food tech sustainability start up, in executing the go-to-market strategy. As a Growth Lead you will support customer acquisition via marketing, partnership development, and performance marketing.

Responsibilities
•Support Founder in building commercial and strategic partnerships, conductingoutreach with SME food manufacturers, food brands; seeking out new businesspartnerships.

•Developing a deep knowledge of TrackCarbon’s solution, competitive advantage, USP,and articulating the core benefits of the solution to users.

•Support & drive content creation via social media channels and website

•Strengthen and maintain relationships with existing partners

•Assist Founder with go-to market execution across B2B

•Attending online and, or in-person training with regards to product development.

•Accompany Founder at speaking events, conferences; assisting with exhibitions andengaging in public speaking on occasions.

Qualifications & Experience

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfortability in public speaking.

•Postgraduate or undergraduate qualification, preferably in Business Management,Marketing, Communications, Business Strategy or similar subject

•An interest in Sustainability & Environmental topics, and food systems.

•Comfortability using social media platforms such as Linkedin, Instagram, Tiktok andFacebook

•Strong presentation skills, with a proficiency in use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva & AItools for video creation.

•Interest in start-up ecosystem, and desire to possibly become a shareholder in thebusiness.

•Desirable to have an establised network within the food industry.

Compensation: Revenue Share (no base salary to start). Revenue share will comprise of % earnings
for each commercial partnership secured. Equity option available, with option to own 5-7% of the
business after 6 months.

Any out-of-pocket travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Successful applicant will benefit from gaining hands-on experience from a growing startup, with
sustainability at the heart the organisation. You will gain exposure to the start-up growth cycle,
business strategy, benefiting from courses / training in marketing strategy, business strategy and
cloud technology.

Hours: part time / 21 hours per week

Duration: 6 months with strong possibility of extension and option for equity ownership.
